Fospice Program

While our usual goal when we rescue a dog or cat is to fix ‘em up and find them a forever home, sometimes that isn’t possible. Some dogs and cats come to us with chronic diseases whose care render them unadoptable. Others come to us with terminal diseases and the time they have left is counted in months. While most senior dogs & cats are adoptable, some settle into their foster homes so well that we can’t imagine removing them from the home they love for whatever time they have left. Still more have behavioral issues that are tolerated by their amazing foster parents, but we know that finding someone who may want to adopt them pretty much won’t happen.

For these animals, we have our fospice program. We take care of the medical and any supplies needed for these pets while their dedicated foster parents provide the care and love the pets need for the rest of their days.
