Horse Care:

  1. Put girls in stall
  2. Prepare meals & feed
  3. Dump/fill red water bucket
  4. Dump/fill black water trough (all the way up in the summertime; if water is at all foul please dump)
  5. Light: morning, turn off using remote. Night, turn on using remote. (Press button 3.)
  6. Fans: both fans in the big stall should be on during the day, just one at night
  7. Fly masks: on in morning, off at night
  8. Fly spray: use as needed
  9. Trash: out on Tuesday and Friday nights
  10. Before you leave, double check: water off, tack room door latched
  11. Hay: Give the girls one pad of hay each into their 3 Porta-Grazers

 

Juniper:

Make dinner & breakfast at same time. Put the breakfast bucket in the big rubbermaid bin. 

  • Seminole Wellness Calm & Cool grain up to line on scoop (about 1 1/2 quarts)
  • Add half of a ziploc of her supplements from the drawer that says Junie to each meal. (Equals one ziploc per day.)

 

Buttercup:

Make dinner & breakfast at same time. Put the breakfast bucket in the big rubbermaid bin. 

  • 2 cups of timothy pellets
  • 2/3 cup beet pulp
  • Add water to soak/soften right before feeding
  • Add 1/4 vegetable oil right before feeding
  • Add half of a ziploc of her supplements from the drawer that says BC to each meal. (Equals one ziploc per day.)
  • 10 of the antihistamine tabs with each meal (give her 10 tabs with dinner, and add them to her breakfast as well); when you soak her food for the night, don’t soak the tablets. Antihistamines until further notice
  • 1 scoop prednisolone with dinner every OTHER night (yes on tonight, 7/15) until further notice

 

Mattilda:

Make dinner & breakfast at same time. Put the breakfast bucket in the big rubbermaid bin. 

  • 2.5 quarts of Triple Crown Senior feed
  • 2 cups timothy pellets
  • 2/3 cup beet pulp
  • Add 1/4 vegetable oil right before feeding
  • Add half of a ziploc of her supplements from the drawer that says BC to each meal. (Equals one ziploc per day.)
  • 1 scoop antibiotic powder (on top of her her supplement drawer) with each meal (sprinkle over her breakfast as well) until further notice
  • 2 grams bute with dinner only until further notice
